Raiders rout Aces in ACME play
HAVILAND – A pair of Green Meadows Conference rivals met in ACME baseball action Thursday night with host Wayne Trace rolling to a 23-1 win over visiting Hicksville.
HAVILAND – A pair of Green Meadows Conference rivals met in ACME baseball action Thursday night with host Wayne Trace rolling to a 23-1 win over visiting Hicksville.
PAULDING – Green Meadows Conference squads Ayersville and Paulding hooked up for an ACME doubleheader Wednesday evening with the host Panthers recording victories of 8-5 and 2-0 on the night.
PAULDING – Grady Barton struck out eight and scattered one hit and one walk in tossing a complete-game victory as the Paulding ACME baseball team defeated Ottoville 5-0 Thursday night.
VAN WERT – After falling behind 4-0 early in the contest, the Wayne Trace ACME baseball team exploded for seven runs in the top of the fourth and went on to record a 9-7 victory over host Lincolnview Monday evening.
VAN WERT — 82nd District Ohio House member Roy Klopfenstein co-sponsored House Bill 10, which recently passed the Ohio House.
VAN WERT - A two vehicle accident occurred at 6:12 pm Sunday afternoon. The fire department was called to the scene as one person was entrapped without injuries. The white pickup truck was west bound on Sycamore Street and an east bound vehicle made a left hand turn into the drivers side of the pickup truck. VAN WERT — Rain dampened this year’s Cole Motors Freedom Truck Meet, held at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds over the weekend, with many of the activities canceled.
The New Heights Educational Group is excited to announce the launch of a new podcast titled “American Service Men and Women Tell Their Stories of Survival.” Hosted by Pamela Clark, this podcast will feature firsthand accounts from soldiers who served aboard the USS Drexler, with plans to explore additional stories as well.This pre-recorded show will be available on their website Radio.NewHeightsEducation.org starting June 25, 2025. PAULDING - It was a nice week for the most part although early on, overnight rain caused some events to delay and others to cancel. Yet, even Saturday showers couldn’t stop the Rodeo that traditionally closes the Paulding County Fair.
