COLUMBUS — The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) recently hosted its annual Officials Hall of Fame banquet, honoring several officials across various sports. Among this year’s inductees was Rita Schnipke of Ottoville.
On July 11, a small delegation from Crane Township traveled to Hillsdale, Michigan, to meet Louise Van Aken Worms, a great-great-great-granddaughter of Oliver Crane, the township’s namesake and one of its earliest settlers.
The Paulding County History Museum, located across from the fairgrounds on Fairground Drive in Paulding, will hold an antique farm machinery show on Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. The show replaces the museum’s annual chicken barbecue.
