CARSEN PERL
11/21/2003-8/31/2025

OAKWOOD – It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Carsen Philip Perl, a kind and remarkable young man who was loved by so many. Carsen was born on November 21, 2003, to Jennifer (Pessefall) and the late Philip Perl. He grew up in Oakwood, Ohio, and graduated from Paulding High School.
Carsen was employed at Alliance Automation, where he worked as an electrician. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his trade. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also loved being down at the shop working on cars, always kidding around, teasing, and making bets with his Grandpa Jim, Uncle Chris, and cousin Noah. Carsen loved spending time with his girlfriend, Asia, and some of his happiest moments were those they shared together. His four-legged best friend, Milo, was also always faithfully by his side.
He was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend and was deeply loved in each of those roles. His presence will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.  Carsen is survived by his mother, Jennifer; his brothers, Logan and Mike Harris; and his twin sister, Yaya (Alivia). He is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Jim and Susie Pessefall; his uncle Chris (Sandra) Pessefall; uncle Dave Perl; aunt Lindsey (Korrey) Kemp; aunt Marsha Perl; cousins Daviah (Blake) Pessefall-Dobbeleare, Noah and Eli Pessefall, Maddison (Joe) Thomas-Pessefall, Jacobe Carpenter, and Matt (Robbyn) Hodge; little cousins Hutson and Millie; nieces Malia and Willow; his girlfriend, Asia; and his loyal dog, Milo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phil Perl; his uncle, Rich Perl; his baby cousin, Creed Thomas; and his great-grandmother, Rae.
Losing Carsen has left a space in our lives that nothing can ever fill, but the memories we hold of him will remain in our hearts forever.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Bud Larimore officiating. Burial followed in Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation was from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
