PAYNE - On Saturday, Payne’s Rock the Block didn’t just entertain with a parade and the music of Columbia Rose, but with a Cruise In on Main St. that was full throttle fun for car owners and those that came to see the results of their un-tire-ing dedication to their cars
When it was first announced, there was cautious optimism from the community. It did not deter Heather Sherburn from organizing a new Fall Festival to take the place of the defunct Flat Rock Creek Festival.
On Monday, September 1st the Paulding FFA Chapter had 35 members walk in the Annual Oakwood Homecoming parade to represent our chapter. They carried a FFA banner and FFA members handed out candy to the parade goers. Then there were 10 members that stayed to help with kids’ games and inflatables as a yearly community service project to give back to our local community. Our members really enjoyed helping and celebrating Oakwood’s homecoming events. We always look forward to this event to kick off our school year as a chapter. It was such a fun and great opportunity for the FFA Chapter to support our local community and learn by the FFA motto of living to serve!
Mike Speiser will be speaking at the General Meeting, open to the public, on Tuesday, September 23rd, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the museum located at 600 Fairgrounds Drive, across the street from the fairgrounds in Paulding.
To raise money for Paulding High School students to travel to Italy in March 2027, there will be a pasta dinner fundraiser at Paulding VFW on Saturday evening, October 25, 2025.

PAULDING, OH — Members of Paulding Putnam recently donated $11,020 to nine local charities and community projects through the cooperative’s Operation Round Up program.
