VAN WERT - CHP Home Care and Hospice was forced to close their Adult Day Center on Westwood Drive in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the worst effects have passed, they have not only been open but renovating and expanding their services.
The Kiwanis Club of Paulding County was privileged to have Ashley Shepherd ,(Family and Children First Coordinator, OCTF Coordinator, 21st CCLC Coordinator at Western Buckeye Educational Center),as the guest speaker at the March 13, 2025, club meeting. On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Cooper Community Library in Oakwood hosted a Chocolate Extravaganza It’s an annual event with a history of selling out. Attendees were treated to a seemingly unending flow of chocolate treats.

PAULDING – The Paulding County Carnegie Library is pleased to announce it will host its Second Annual Writer’s Conference on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. at the Library. The First Writer’s Conference was held in 2024 and received outstanding reviews, resulting in the Library looking forward to once again offering this program to the community and surrounding area in April, 2025.
