The Kiwanis Club of Paulding County was privileged to have Lisa Laukhuf, Tony Gonzales, Jessica Manz, Katrina Groce, Will Manz, and Amanda Andrews (Teachers, LifeWise) as the guest speakers at the August 15, 2024, club meeting. They all came at the invitation of Traci Koenig (Director, LifeWise Wayne Trace, Paulding Exempted and Antwerp). The teachers spoke to the Kiwanians about LifeWise and the impact that they have seen in the students.

PAULDING - Recently, Paulding County Hospital upgraded their Cardiopulmonary Department equipment and software. This upgrade was possible due to Paulding County Hospital Foundation, the foundation matched up to $25,000 in donations towards the software. The Paulding Eagles matched 100% of Paulding County Hospital Foundation’s match & donated $25,000. The complete software upgrade came in at $51,125.00.

Saturday, August 10, 2024, was the perfect day for a celebration of Summer. It wasn’t too hot, letting so many people line Antwerp’s Main Street and Canal Street for the parade to Riverside Park, where music and dancing highlighted the fun.

Carey Pedlow has been deeply involved in the arts since a young age, which led to her over 30-year career teaching K-12 art in Illustration, Ceramics, and Metalsmithing.
Limitless, the retail store by PC Workshop, hosted a fantastic community event around it’s store on North Williams Street. West Jackson and West Perry streets were closed off to make room for the festivities.

These children have traveled all over Paulding this summer to various businesses where they have been welcomed inside and have learned about what our fabulous village holds!
