Paulding Putnam awards $10,000 in scholarships, Announces 2025 Youth Program participants

PAULDING, OH — Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative (PPEC) is proud to announce the recipients of its scholarship and youth program opportunities. A total of $10,000 in scholarships was awarded to local students, along with several students selected to represent the co-op in statewide and national youth leadership experiences.

Paulding Fairground vandalized

PAULDING - On the evening of April 22, vandals struck the Paulding County Fairgrounds. It was the second time that vandals struck following a 2024 incident where several buildings were spraypainted, including the Paulding FFA shed which sells Smoked Sausage sandwiches every year at the Paulding County Fair.

America 250-Ohio announces statewide grants for storytelling and education programs

COLUMBUS, OH - John Paulding VFW Post 587’s Battle Cross Monument for the Paulding Veterans Memorial in Paulding, Ohio received a $5,000 grant. The grant came from America 250-Ohio, the official state commission responsible for spearheading Ohio’s celebrations and commemorations around America’s semi-sesquicentennial in 2026,
