MARY ANN FOLTZ

PAULDING, OH: Mary Ann Foltz, age 78, of Paulding, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. Mary Ann was born on January 10, 1946 in Paulding, OH to the late Robert and Rita (Lonsway) Snodgrass. On February 8, 1965 she married Ronald R. Foltz who preceded in death in 2022. Mary Ann was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding and worked for 30 years as a clerk in the Paulding County Treasurer’s Office. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and attending sporting events for her grandchildren. PAULDING, OH: Phyllis J. Conley of Paulding passed away at 4:09 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her home. She was born January 7, 1940 in Van Wert, OH to the late Michael and Helen (Parsons) Rodman. She married Dale E. Conley on October 28, 1956 who precedes her in death. Together they shared many years of memories. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to Florida for the winters and decorating.

RENEE L. TAYLOR

ST. PETERSBURG, FL, formerly of PAULDING, OH: Renee L. Taylor, age 69, passed away Thursday September 12th, 2024, peacefully in Saint Petersburg, Fl. On October 24th, 1975, she married the love of her life, Jim Taylor who preceded her in death on September 1st, 2022. Renee is survived by a son, Bret L. (David A. Wilber) Taylor of St. Petersburg, Fl. Renee is also survived by a brother Randy Huffine and a sister Linda Stimer, both of Michigan. Renee was preceded in death by a daughter Andrea Renee Taylor. She was also preceded by her mother and father Ivan (Betty Silveus) Watters of Michigan, and her mother and father in-law Leland (Bertie Miller) Taylor of Oakwood, Ohio. Renee and her husband Jim shared a lifelong passion of raising and racing horses. Renee was a true born caregiver and spent many years working as a nurse at the Paulding Co. Hospital. She loved to be on the water and under the sun. She had a zest and curiosity for life that couldn’t be diminished by any adversity. She loved her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews beyond words and relished in telling anyone who would listen about their latest professional, academic, or sports achievement. She was also blessed in the last years of her life to have the love and care of Benjamin Anaya and James Yeager, whom she loved as sons. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Den Herder Funeral Home with Andrea Fry Quigg officiating. Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Brown Township, OH. Sterland Jay (J.L.) Gibson, born May 31, 1945, passed away August 24, 2024. His employment history included Trident Corporation in Hicksville, OH, General Motors Corporation in Defiance OH, Dana Corporation (formally Weatherhead) in Antwerp, OH and he retired from Precision Metal Products in Holland, MI. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Gibson of Lawrenceburg, TN, one daughter Lori J. Durre of Hicksville, OH, one son, Bradley S. Gibson of Auburn, IN. Two granddaughters, two great grandsons and two great granddaughters. Two brothers, Roland Gibson of Antwerp, OH, Tim Gibson (Kim) of Hicksville, OH, three sisters, Belinda Dunbar of Fort Wayne, IN, Betsy Rice of Cecil OH and Claralyn McClain of Napoleon, OH. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service will be September 28th at 11:00am at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Paulding, OH.

PAULDING, OH: Mary J. Donley, age 90, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at the Gardens of Paulding. Mary was born on September 21, 1933 in Paulding, OH to the late Harry W. and Inez (Allen) Mobley. She married Paul G. Donley, who preceded her in death on September 1, 1999. Mary worked as a nurse’s aide at Paulding County Hospital for 17 years. She was the assistant leader of the Girl Scouts. Mary loved crafting, gardening, and camping. She attended First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Paulding. Mary is survived by her daughter, Kim Marie Donley, Paulding, OH; brother, Harry W. “Butch” (Marge) Mobley, Paulding, OH; many loving nieces and nephews. Mary is also preceded in death by her sisters, Loretta Crawford and Helen Gunderman; a nephew, Sid Crawford. Funeral service was held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Den Herder Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blakeslee Cemetery, Brown Township. Visitation was from 12:00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Den Herder Funeral Home.
