Archers roll to win over Tigers
ANTWERP – The Antwerp Lady Archers rolled to a 10-0 blanking of Holgate in high school softball action Friday night at the home of the blue and white.

DELPHOS – In non-league softball action Friday evening, the Paulding Panthers doubled up host Delphos Jefferson for a 14-7 victory over the Wildcats at Delphos Jefferson High School.
DEFIANCE – Host Defiance broke open a close game with five runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull away for a 9-1 victory over visiting Paulding Friday evening in non-conference baseball play.
The Wayne Trace Girls Basketball Team and Head Coach Bethany DeJarnett was recently recognized by the Ohio House of Representatives and State Representative Roy Klopfenstein of the 82nd District. The Lady Raiders were presented Proclamations by the Ohio House of Representatives recognizing the squad for its Green Meadows Conference championship and Sectional Championship as well as DeJarnett was honored for recording her 200th victory as head coach in the sectional championship win over Riverdale.
NEW BREMEN – Wayne Trace hit the road for a long trip to New Bremen Friday in non-conference baseball play with the Raiders bringing home a 6-4 win over the host Cardinals.
CRESTVIEW – A three-run rally in the bottom of the fifth inning proved to be the difference as the Crestview Knights broke open a tie game to post a 6-3 win over Paulding in the high school baseball season opener Saturday.
OTTOVILLE — Ottoville (0-1) couldn’t overcome a tough third inning as Paulding (1-1) took a 4-1 win on Monday evening.
ANTWERP — Raeley Franklin went 3-for-4, but Antwerp fell to Crestview 9-3 on Saturday. Franklin singled in the first, third and seventh innings.
OTTOVILLE — The Ottoville Lady Green (1-3) struggled to keep pace with a surging Wayne Trace (1-3) squad Monday evening, falling 16-0 in a five-inning contest.
