COLUMBUS — The path to the state tournament is set as the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) released its girls’ basketball sectional and district brackets on Sunday. Local teams now know their matchups as they prepare for postseason action.
ROCKFORD — Two teams with excellent records clashed at Rockford Tuesday night with the host Parkway Lady Panthers edging the visiting Paulding Lady Panthers 33-27.
It was a big night in Antwerp Tuesday, as Caroline Rohrs scored her 1000th point.
The Wayne Trace Wrestling Team was represented by eight wrestlers at the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbird Invitational, which hosts 36 Division 3 schools from across Ohio. Of the eight wrestlers, five advanced to the second day of competition and two finished on the podium.
The week before saw the Raiders start a string of road games with a loss to Coldwater. Their next game saw them make the relatively short trip to Hicksville to take on the Aces. They took a lead early and refused to let it go.

Paulding’s girls were on a roll going into their Thursday night matchup with Edgerton in the Jungle. They not only were on a six-game winning streak, but undefeated at home.
