Panthers stay unbeaten

PAULDING – The Paulding Panthers returned to Keysor Field Friday night to host North Central from Williams County and the game was dominated by the maroon and white, scoring early and often in a 58-0 blanking of the visiting Eagles. Also in Paulding County Friday night, Wayne Trace saw a late lead disappear in the final minute as the Raiders fell to Spencerville 28-27 while Antwerp dropped a 55-6 decision to Edon.

Runners stay busy on weekend

All three county schools saw cross country action over the weekend as teams took part in meets in Wood and Putnam Counties. Wayne Trace took part in the Mel Brodt High School Cross Country Invitational at Bowling Green State University On the boys side, Eli Treece led the Raiders with a time of 18:18.30 (80th) and Jaxson Cook posted a time of 20:11 (177th).

Lady Raiders open with win over LCC

LIMA – Wayne Trace started off its high school volleyball season on the right foot with a straight set sweep of Lima Central Catholic Tuesday evening. The Lady Raiders captured the first set of their season in a 25-14 victory over the Thunderbirds before following that up with a 25-18 win in game two.
