Panthers and Archers lead county

EDGERTON – The trio of Paulding County schools took part in the Edgerton Cross Country Invitational on Saturday with Antwerp and Paulding leading the way. Paulding was the top finisher in the varsity boys division as the Panthers placed seventh while Antwerp took ninth and Wayne Trace was 11th.

GMC leaders win over county teams

Green Meadows Conference co-leaders Tinora and Edgerton stayed tied atop the league standings Tuesday night with wins over Wayne Trace and Paulding, respectively. In Defiance County, the host Lady Rams coasted to victories of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-22 as the green and white improved to 15-0 overall and 4-0 in the league.

Ohio McDonald’s restaurants to donate 10 percent of sales to local high school athletics

OHIO – McDonald’s owner operators throughout Ohio will be raising funds for local high school athletic programs on September 26. During the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day, 261 schools across Ohio, including Wayne Trace High School, will earn 10 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app.
