PAULDING – The Paulding Panthers opened the 2025 high school football season in style Friday night as the maroon and white rolled to a 55-0 victory over Swanton.
In the Jungle, the Lady Panthers showed their mettle against the visiting Pettisville Blackbirds Thursday night. They swept all three sets, beating the visiting team 25-19, 25-21 and 25-18.
VAN WERT — Led by a wealth of powerful servers and strong hitters, Paulding cruised by Van Wert 25-8, 25-11, 25-9 Monday evening in the season opening volleyball match for both teams.

DEFIANCE – Paulding hooked up with a pair of former Northwest Conference rivals in Lincolnview and Crestview Monday in boys golf action at Auglaize Golf Course where the Lancers took home the victory.

WOODBURN – Wayne Trace senior Reagan McGarvey took match medalist honors at the Green Meadows Conference girls golf match Tuesday at Pond-A-River Golf Course in leading the Lady Raiders to a first-place finish.
OTTAWA – Pettisville put a quartet of players with scores in the 70’s as the Blackbirds won the team title of the Kalida Invitational Wednesday at Moose Landing Golf Club in high school boys golf action.
WAUSEON – Thirteen teams took part in the Wauseon Girls Golf Invitational Monday at Ironwood Golf Course where Otsego nipped Wayne Trace 396-399 to win the tournament title.
