HAVILAND – Two veteran coaches stepped away from the Wayne Trace boys and girls basketball programs after this past season and opened the door for two new faces to take over the Raider squads in advance of the 2025-2026 season.
HAVILAND – Summer baseball between a pair of Green Meadows Conference rivals took place in Paulding County last week as Wayne Trace and Tinora battled to a 10-10 tie after nine innings of action last week.

VAN WERT – After falling behind 4-0 early in the contest, the Wayne Trace ACME baseball team exploded for seven runs in the top of the fourth and went on to record a 9-7 victory over host Lincolnview Monday evening.
PAULDING – Grady Barton struck out eight and scattered one hit and one walk in tossing a complete-game victory as the Paulding ACME baseball team defeated Ottoville 5-0 Thursday night.
PAULDING – Green Meadows Conference squads Ayersville and Paulding hooked up for an ACME doubleheader Wednesday evening with the host Panthers recording victories of 8-5 and 2-0 on the night.
HAVILAND - Following the June School board meeting, it became official: Wayne Trace has named a new coach succeeding the long and successful tenure of Coach Jim Linder.
COLUMBUS – The high school track season came to a close in the state of Ohio over the weekend with several Paulding County athletes making the trip to the capital city.
