Dolores L. Riggenbach, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 2, 2025 at The Country Inn Enhanced Living Center. She was born to Michael G. and Magdalena (Manz) Stoller on August 3, 1931 in Paulding County, Ohio, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Paulding High School in 1950. She was a member of the Latty Apostolic Christian Church and was baptized February 6, 1967.
On February 6, 1955 she married the late Harlan E. Riggenbach and they enjoyed over 57 years together. To that union was born two daughters, Bonnie (Paul) Bruns of Fort Wayne, IN and Patricia (David) Gerber of Paulding, Ohio. “Grandma Dee”, as she was fondly called by her grandchildren, adored all of her grandchildren: Laura (Sam) Steffen, Bethany (Alex) Kellogg, Bryant Gerber, Kelsey (Jankees) Fokker, Adriana Gehman (dec), and Natalie (Scotty) Kunkel. She also felt blessed to spend time with her great-grandchildren and foster great-grandchildren. Her only surviving sibling is her sister Anna Marie (Rex-dec) Plummer.
For most of her working years Dolores was a devoted secretary for her dad in the seed business and railroad business, then later in her career at the Terra fertilizer company. After retirement she was happiest spending time with her grandchildren, even traveling internationally to be with them. She also liked to take pictures and collect dolls.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan, grand-daughter Adriana, son-in-law James A. Gehman, and siblings Kenneth Stoller, Katherine Oesch, Ellsworth Stoller, Josephine Stoller, and Jet Stoller.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Latty Apostolic Christian Church with church clergymen officiating. Burial will follow in the Latty Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Latty Apostolic Christian Church.
