Larry Lee Carnahan 1945-2024

CLOVERDALE – Larry Lee Carnahan, 79, of Cloverdale, passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at his home. He was born March 27, 1945, in Paulding to the late Brice and Freda (Ankney) Carnahan, Jr. On July 2, 1965, he married Diana Sharp, she survives in Cloverdale.

Larry is also survived by a daughter: Amy (Ben) Fleagle of Oakwood; grandchildren: Mackenzie (Jayson) Dangler, Kelsey (Landen) McKee; great-grandchildren: Hayden Dangler, Fallon Dangler, Beau McKee, and one on the way; siblings: Gladys Hammon of Charloe, Raynord Carnahan of Kalida, and Gary (Sandy) Carnahan of Defiance.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Mandy Lee Walters, two siblings, Wanda Taylor and Brice Carnahan, Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Carnahan.

Larry retired from Washington Township, where he worked in maintenance. He was a life-long farmer, and really enjoyed farming. Larry loved to spend time with his family, especially the great-grandkids.

Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Tom Keller officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
