VAN WERT, OHIO – Your Van Wert Campus of Northwest State Community College is excited to announce the opening of registration for our Spring 2025 semester. Until the Van Wert Campus is fully operational, we have once again partnered with Van Wert Health to host courses starting in January 2025.

If you’ve seen me around the county, you might have noticed I’m using a cane. I’ve been going to various doctors for the past few months, taking tests, and it turns out that I need back surgery.
Dear Paulding Friends, What are we thinking when we, as Paulding County residents, care more about what political party a person belongs to than what they mean to us as people in our community? Why can’t we just have signs in our yard promoting our political choice without causing someone to decide they have the right to damage or destroy these same signs? This election will be over soon. One party will have elected their candidate.
This election, as we have heard often enough, is critical. Not only on the national level, but especially here in Ohio.
Issue 1 deserves a decisive NO vote. Imagine a redistricting map with a narrow corridor from Toledo through Henry and Defiance Counties straight to Paulding County, but not including all of those counties.
I just want to start by saying my stance has nothing against the students at Wayne Trace. This is purely the cost of the $30 million project and how it is being paid for.
