PAULDING, OH: Mary Ann Foltz, age 78, of Paulding, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. Mary Ann was born on January 10, 1946 in Paulding, OH to the late Robert and Rita (Lonsway) Snodgrass. On February 8, 1965 she married Ronald R. Foltz who preceded in death in 2022. Mary Ann was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding and worked for 30 years as a clerk in the Paulding County Treasurer’s Office. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and attending sporting events for her grandchildren. Ohio is in the middle of the worst drought our state has seen in over a century. It’s been particularly bad in Southeast Ohio, but Ohioans all over our state are feeling its effects.

Panthers, Raiders post shutouts in week five

A pair of Paulding County high school football teams posted shutouts Friday night as Paulding and Wayne Trace each recorded Green Meadows Conference football victories over the weekend. At Ayersville, the maroon and white moved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the league with a 35-0 blanking of the host Pilots.

What’s happening at your library in October

The Paulding County Carnegie Library is getting ready for a wonderful “Fall into Reading” season. If you love cooler temperatures, pumpkin spice, colorful crunching leaves under your feet, hoodies, bonfires and trick-or-treat fun, this time is for you. The library will close on Monday, October 14, in observance of Columbus Day. The library and branches are excited about all the upcoming events we have planned.

Flat Rock Creek brings out county for Fall fun

PAULDING - Storms threatened the evenings at the Paulding County Fairgrounds, but the Flat Rock Creek Festival managed to bring out hundreds for a celebration with music, food, events and crafts. The barns had vendor after vendor selling crafts with various aesthetics, suitable for inside or outside the home.
