• 10 red potatoes, unpeeled and cut into chunks • 1/2 cup onion, diced • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced • 2 cups carrots, sliced • 1 cup celery, chopped • 1 (16-ounce) package smoky links, cut into pieces; or 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into pieces • Salt and pepper, as desired • Cheese, sliced Preheat grill to medium- high heat. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together except the cheese.

Ann’s Bright Beginnings goes to jail (for a tour)

Museum to host canal tour Aug. 17

MARK RUBLE

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI; formerly of GROVER HILL, OH: Mark Ruble, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Mark was born on November 6, 1967, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Gene H. and Ramona (Stuart) Ruble. He was a 1986 graduate of Wayne Trace Jr./Sr. High School. Mark enjoyed collecting trinkets and telling stories. He had many fond family memories. There wasn’t much that Mark loved more than his cat “Nickles”, except for his beloved Loretta Lynn. He was truly her biggest fan and shared his love of Loretta to anyone that would listen. Mark is survived by his mother, Ramona; brother, Brian (Deb); nephew, Nick (Kerry) all of Grover Hill; niece, Becky Ruble, Grimesland, NC; and great niece and nephews, Venna, Brooks and Ross Ruble. He also leaves behind many great memories with his lifelong friend, George Felty. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Gene in 2022.
