DEFIANCE - The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Defiance Post is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025. The crash happened at the intersection of State Route 18 and The Bend Road in Defiance County.

DEFIANCE - Author and photographer Naomi Chapman will visit Defiance Public Library, 320 Fort St., on Oct. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to noon to share stories of her adventures photographing abandoned and historic places. Chapman is a YouTube content creator who enjoys exploring anything, including cemeteries, abandoned locations, and museums. She will also discuss the process of publishing her books, which include Abandoned Pennsylvania, Abandoned Detroit, and The Alley, among others.
