ANTWERP – In a Paulding County battle of softball teams looking for their first win in Green Meadows Conference play, it was host Antwerp that used a three-run fifth to defeat visiting Wayne Trace 3-1 Wednesday evening.

Though there is no guarantee that we will not get a late frost, the last time we had temperatures low enough for one was April 17th, when we dipped to 32 degrees. Our average last frost date generally falls between May 1-10.

Verena and Daniel are getting married
