Families explore estate planning options at Delphos seminar

DELPHOS — Area residents filled the Fraternal Order of Eagles hall Wednesday for a free seminar on estate planning, where an attorney from Cooper, Adel, Vu & Associates explained the differences between using a transfer-on-death designation and setting up a trust. The session aimed to help families better understand how to protect their assets and make plans that avoid costly probate disputes.

District report cards released, Wayne Trace county’s high scorer

PAULDING COUNTY - The state released school report cards on Sept. 15, and all county school districts have reason to rejoice and reason to consider changes. Wayne Trace took the high score with a four-star rating, while Paulding and Antwerp scored three and a half stars.
