The Paulding County Carnegie Library will be celebrating all month long, Library Card Sign-up Month. The theme this year is “One Card… Endless Possibilities” If you don’t have a library card, get one today, all you need is your driver’s license. Don’t know where your card is? Stop by, and we can get you a new one. The PCCL is proud to announce the launch of “Gale Presents: Udemy” is an On-Demand, Online learning platform that connects patrons to video-based courses taught by leading experts in business, technology, leadership & personal development--over 15,000 courses are taught by instructors. Check out our website at mypccl.org for all our online references.
The Paulding County Carnegie Library will wrap up the Summer Reading Program on August 2. Check with your local library on events and get your logs turned in on time. School will be starting soon so remember your library is available for any of your homework needs.
The Paulding County Carnegie Library Children’s Room is having a Summer Party on Tuesday June 24 from 4-6 pm. Justin the Clown will be here with his face painting and balloon animal fun. Also stop by and tryout your throwing skills while trying to dunk our very own “Kooky Kirk” in the dunk tank. There will be food, games, prizes and surprises for everyone. It is sure to be a blast. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Paulding County Carnegie Library is excited for Spring. Check out what is happening at one or all the branches. The library will close at noon on Good Friday, April 18. The library will be open on Saturday, April 19, during normal hours. National Library Week is April 6 through the 13. This year’s theme is “Drawn to the Library.” Stop in and let us know what you value about your local library.
PAULDING – The Paulding County Carnegie Library is pleased to announce it will host its Second Annual Writer’s Conference on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. at the Library. The First Writer’s Conference was held in 2024 and received outstanding reviews, resulting in the Library looking forward to once again offering this program to the community and surrounding area in April, 2025.
On Friday, February 28, 2025 I had the need to access public records regarding long deceased family members at the Paulding County Courthouse and Paulding County Carnegie Library across the street.
The Paulding County Carnegie Library is green with the anticipation of spring. Stop by the library and get a gardening book or two. Be sure to turn in your reading logs for the “S’mitten with Reading” winter reading program which ends March 1. The Paulding Library and all branches will close at 2:30 on Thursday, March 20 for Staff Development. Normal hours resume on Friday March 21st.
