In October 1940, the Paulding railroad depot on Walnut Street, and the Paulding Lumber Co. behind it, were destroyed by a fire that raged for hours. This image dates to about 1910. The lumber yard was rebuilt and a new depot was brought in to replace the old one.photo submitted
