There’s no thought given to the meaning behind the United States having a holiday devoted to workers and the events that led to it. Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates serious injury crash

DEFIANCE - The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash involving two vehicles that occurred on August 22, 2025 at approximately 9:43 a.m. The crash occurred on State Route 49 at US 20, Northwest Township, Williams County Ohio.

Weather enhances crop diseases

Some crop diseases are intensifying and being enhanced by current weather conditions. Cool night time temperatures (below 700 F), humid conditions, and wet leaves enhance tar spot in corn. Tar Spot is often helped by August and September weather conditions. Red Crown Rot in soybeans is also being found in Ohio.
